Western New England University: ASB 2014

Served up today on Beans & Rice’s menu was an insightful lesson into the inner workings of early childhood development and the issue that we will face while working in the after school program. We broke into three teams to discuss some of the developmental issues that we face in middle and elementary school and the questions that we could be asked by the different age groups. This stimulated a rousing trip down memory lane for some and painfully awkward stumble for others (Some of us haven’t grown out of those awkward teenage blues quite yet). However in all honesty this was a wake up call for how much the world has changes since the days of our youth.
